Neuro-affirming, relational and somatic counselling for adults throughout BC

Online Counselling Across British Columbia

Online counselling and therapy for adults throughout British Columbia, offering a somatic, trauma-informed, relational and neuro-affirming approach.

My approach is collaborative and slow. Together, we can make space to notice what is happening within you, in your relationships, and in your environment.

I am neurodivergent myself, and I want you to know there is no expectation to arrive knowing exactly what you need or how to explain your experience. We can begin from wherever you are.

Accessibility, Pace, and Comfort

For some people, being in their own environment makes it easier to settle, communicate and stay connected to themselves. Online counselling can also offer greater accessibility and flexibility for people who find travelling to appointments difficult or who prefer the familiarity of home.

Sessions may involve talking and reflecting, noticing what is happening in your body, exploring emotions or patterns, or simply slowing down enough to discover what you need.

The pace and focus of our work can develop from what is meaningful for you.

Neuro-Affirming

I work with adults who are exploring their experiences through a neurodivergent lens, including ADHD, autism and AuDHD.

A neuro-affirming approach does not begin with the assumption that you need to change who you are or learn to function in a more “typical” way. Instead, we can explore how your ways of thinking, sensing, communicating and relating have developed within the contexts of your life.

This can be particularly meaningful for people who have learned to rely heavily on their intelligence, competence or ability to adapt, while finding that these strategies are no longer sustainable.
